Occasionally the Women's Shed sees benefit in engaging the wider community in its activities. Some of our members suggested we organise for Tracie McVean to deliver one of her fascinating seminars on local fungi. So we did. And we opened it up to the wider community. 20 members of the Yackandandah community spent over 2 hours learning lots about fungi from Tracie and looking at her stunning photography of theses amazing organisms. Hopefully we can lure Tracie back in the near future for a repeat session.
