The Albury Wodonga Women's Centre for Health and Wellbeing recently launched a clothing and toiletries drive to support victims of domestic violence. This was a cause that seemed to be a close fit for the mission of Yackandandah Women's Shed which has a focus on the wellbeing of women. The call was put out to the Women's Shed and the women of Yackandandah more generally. The response was wonderful. On behalf of the Yackandandah Women's Shed, a huge thank you to everyone who helped with the donations to this worthy cause. A special shout out to Terri Manderson and her clients who made substantial donations that enabled us to boost the amount of goodies we were able to donate. The ladies at the centre were very grateful for the goodies, but also touched by the wonderful and generous response from the women of Yackandandah. Nice to see women supporting other women who are in desperate need.
