Wicking beds in action

How do you get 10 wicking beds built? Organise a wicking bed workshop for the Women's Shed and get the members to build them and learn how to in the process. Well, that was the idea. 2 hours and much fun and learning later, we finished one bed! But in the process there was lots of laughter (ladies can be wicked!) and hands on experience with angle grinders, reciprocating saws, power drills and shovels. Seven of our members now know a lot more about wicking beds than they did and have the skills to create their own beds from IBCs (which if you ever wondered, stands for intermediate bulk container!). I feel a series of working bees coming on! A very big thanks to Larry and Greg for their expert guidance.
