Weaving with a touch of wildness

The most anticipated workshop we've run so far kicked off on 30 September after a short delay. Eight members were introduced to the ancient skills of weaving using fibres and materials found in the garden and in the bush. We battled with grapevine, honeysuckle, willow and pine. A huge thanks to our own member Susan Cole, who very graciously and expertly shared her amazing skills at wrangling these vines into beautiful artworks that also happen to have practical uses. Such was the response that, on the spot, we arranged a second workshop for the 18 November. Check the events page for details.
