Or in this case, ceramics. A group of our Women's Shed members keen on learning more about creating mosaics met at the old jam factory to try their hand at this very ancient art form. Under expert tutelage, our hardy group (the old factory is not exactly air conditioned!) designed their patterns, sealed their surfaces, glued their pieces and grouted until their hearts were content. So tickled with their progress our master mosaic makers our now meeting each month, on the last Saturday of each month at the old Jam Factory, to progress their skills and mosaic creativity.
