A huge shout out to Lee-Anne Benson for opening her property to the Yackandandah Women's Shed members and for sharing her extensive knowledge of permaculture principles with us. Lee-Anne explained to us the process she and her partner Tim went through in establishing their beautiful and very sustainable property, all based on principles of permaculture. She showed us some ingenious hacks, planting techniques and how she has integrated her chickens and animals into her food production process. The mandala design of the vegetable garden certainly gave the participants much to think about! Ingenious! Lee-Anne was also very generous in sharing some of her plants and produce.
Once again, a highly enjoyable and informative workshop where women were sharing their knowledge and skills in a companionable and friendly way. Well done Women's Shed.
