Everything you wanted to know about ceramics but were afraid to ask!

Well not quite everything, but certainly over our two workshops there were lots of questions about ceramics that were asked and answered. Six of our members had a total blast over the two weekends getting very dirty playing with what looked at times very much like mud. We let our creativity rule and just played with the clay, pinching, coiling, rolling and sculpting it into weird and wonderful shapes. Some of us took a very minimalist approach, whilst others showed their creative flair with freeform shapes and intricate patterns. Lots of concentration, conversation and laughter thrown in as we explored this new medium.

Such was the success that we will be back for more. While details are still being worked out, it looks like our ceramics group will become a regular event. Watch out for more announcements soon.
