Yack Women's Shed hosted an important information seminar run by the CFA on Emergency Preparedness. Maureen and April from our local CFA spent 2 hours talking with YWS members and their families about what we need to do to prepare for the upcoming bushfire season. Participants left the seminar feeling much better informed about fire behaviour and what they needed to do to be better prepared. We also enjoyed a fabulous BBQ and some time just socialising.
